Excellent food and service. Definitely some of the best schnitzel I’ve had. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and menus are in both German and English. Gluten free salads are available. The beer is just as delicious as the food, and they carry several varieties. Nothing negative to say here, I’d for sure recommend to anyone.

Great food and very cozy

A pleasant and homely cafe / restaurant. After or while enjoying a drink you will hear everything about Mackenbach from the Mackenbachers themselves. Very nice people who quickly chat with you. Highly recommended are the Flammkuchen that are made by the inhaberin and taste excellent.
